This year, the City of Vaughan has been selected as a Festival Hub for Ontario Culture Days -an annual event that celebrates arts, culture, and heritage throughout the province each fall. This distinction presents a great opportunity for the city to continue fostering cultural awareness, encouraging inclusiveness and tourism, and exploring diverse art forms like music, heritage, dance, and literature in Vaughan.

An official kick off and flag raising event will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Vaughan City Hall. From 9:30 am to 12 p.m., enjoy a variety of free interactive activities for the whole family, including arts and craft stations, dance performances, and outdoor activities, with the official flag raising ceremony taking place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (ASL interpretation available during the official ceremony)
