Canada Day Celebrations
Vaughan Celebrates Canada Day
Wednesday, July 1 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Join in on the fun at the City of Vaughan’s annual Canada Day celebration, taking place at North Maple Regional Park (11085 Keele St.). This free event features incredible stage entertainment – including headlining acts Rêve and Wes Williams – activities for all ages, a delicious food zone, marketplace and so, so much more! This award-winning Canada Day celebration includes fun for the whole family!
This event is free to attend and suitable for all ages. Pets are even welcome to join the fun, given they are on a leash at all times. Attendees are recommended to pack sunscreen, hats, comfortable shoes and picnic items like chairs and blankets. Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks, but food and beverages will also be available for purchase from local vendors.
There is no parking on-site.
Free shuttle buses will operate from noon to 8 p.m. and pick-up locations include Maple Community Centre (10190 Keele St), St. Joan of Arc Catholic High School (1 St. Joan of Arc Ave), Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr. W.) and VMC Library (200 Apple Mill Rd.). Details about the shuttle schedules can be found on the City’s website.

Celebration Canada at Canada's Wonderland
Wednesday, July 1 to Sunday, July 5 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Make sure you add Canada’s Wonderland’s Celebration Canada to your calendar! This special celebration is included with park admission and offers a fulsome Canadian experience, with live music, authentic Canadian eats, street performers and more – in addition to the already-incredible Canadian thrills you can experience at the park! Celebration Canada is one of the biggest Canada Day celebrations in the Greater Toronto Area, and you definitely won’t want to miss it!
On Canada Day, cap off your day at the park with an explosive, custom-designed fireworks display set to an original soundtrack that you won’t find anywhere else in the Greater Toronto Area. With more than 6,000 colourful explosions reaching heights of more than 800 feet and multiple viewing points throughout the park, it’s the grand finale to a full day of fun. Fireworks will start at approximately 10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1.
