Thank you for your interest in having your business listed on visitvaughan.ca. Our website is part of the Central Counties Tourism (RTO6) website YorkDurhamHeadwaters.ca. That means when you register your business to be listed on our site, you’re also listed on theirs!

VisitVaughan.ca was created to attract visitors to Vaughan and to help visitors plan their trip and explore all that there is to do in our city. From attractions, restaurants, accommodations, festivals and events – they all play an important role in attracting visitors to our community.

To align with the objective of attracting visitors, Tourism Vaughan has defined criteria in standardization with the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, Festival and Events Ontario, the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation, and Central Counties Tourism.

For the purposes of the Vaughan tourism website, a tourism attraction is defined as a place that: 

  • is in the City of Vaughan;
  • is promoted to and attracts tourists. A tourist is defined by the Ministry as an individual who travels 40 km or more [one-way] to attend an event and/or stays overnight in a local accommodation;
  • demonstrates a capacity and intention to develop itself as a tourism driver over the long term; and
  • is open to all members of the public. Both free and ticketed attractions are eligible.

In short, all content is assessed on its ability to influence and motivate travel to Vaughan. Unsure if your business applies? Email us at tourism@vaughan.ca.

Register Your Business: I’m Creating a New Account

  • Go to CentralCounties.ca and select the button “CREATE AN ACCOUNT.”
  • Enter an email address and password for your account. Or, you can select ‘Continue with Google’ or ‘Continue with LinkedIn’ to use those credentials, if you prefer.
  • You’ll be taken to the Account Information page. You must complete the form and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  • Validate you are the owner of the email address you entered. An email from info@centralcounties.ca will be sent to the email you provided to confirm your account. Once confirmed, you can begin to add your business and/or event listings. Please note that all businesses and event listings are not published until approved.
  • Go to CentralCounties.ca and select the button “LOGIN.”
  • Enter the email address associated with your already existing account.
  • You will be automatically taken to a Sign In page or a Create an Account page. As Central Counties Tourism has recently updated its portal, existing users will need to enter a NEW password. Please enter your new password.
  • Validate you are the owner of the email address you entered. An email from info@centralcounties.ca will be sent to the email you provided to confirm your account. Once confirmed, you can begin to add your business and/or event listings. Please note that all businesses and event listings are not published until approved.
