Vaughan is honoured to be the only municipality in York Region selected to participate in the Canada Celebrates the FIFA World Cup 2026™ program.

The nationwide initiative includes 36 communities from coast to coast to coast hosting celebrations throughout the tournament, which runs from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
