Welcome IMLA & MLDAO Conference

On Thursday, May 7, the City will host the International Municipal Law Association (IMLA) in Canada Conference, followed by the Municipal Law Departments Association of Ontario (MLDAO) Spring Conference on Friday, May 8. Together, these events offer the municipal legal community an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, share insights, and explore emerging issues in municipal law.

The City of Vaughan is proud to host the IMLA and MLDAO Conferences on May 7 and 8.

Unfortunately, we are no longer accepting new registrations for the MLDAO Conference on Friday, May 8 at Vaughan City Hall. If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please email stephanie.sorbara@vaughan.ca and sabrina.vavaroutsos@vaughan.ca.

We are excited to welcome you to the City of Vaughan on May 7 and 8, 2026, for two back‑to‑back conferences at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major MacKenzie Drive West), conveniently accessible via the Maple GO Station.

Attendees commuting by public transit are encouraged to check schedules in advance using the trip planners below:
